. **WRITE THIS DOWN** The 9 different types of shows are:
1. Daytime shows, such as an office party or lunch hour break (if you are available),
2. Weekday shows, such as the Thursday night I just talked about
3. Weekend shows
4. Multiple choice Saturdays such as a noonora 4pm show
5. Theme shows such as baseball and bling for springtime baseball moms or pjs and pearls for a girl’s night in
6. Co-hosting with a friend, neighbor or co-worker
7. Fundraisers
8. Restaurant style-for those that don’t want to cook or clean their house
9. You and 2… AND I SAY..I come for you and 2, you and a few or you and a slew. You don’t have to have a crowd to have a party!
If you use diva dollars or tickets at your show, pass the card around with the 9 different ways to do a show and have the guests take turns reading each one. Give them a ticket or diva dollar for participating. Women only remember about 7% of what we tell them. BUT if they read it out loud themselves, they will remember!!!!
By sharing the 9 different ways, you have already created the perfect atmosphere to have a show to fit all types of hostesses. Women schedule shows for different reasons. Think about your current situation..would YOUschedule a show for free jewelry, being the busy person that you are? Listen to what your guests are saying. For example, Is someone going on vacation? You may offer a fun show for the vacationer to get free jewelry so she can pack minimal clothes and make her trip all about accessorizing instead! For someone that loved seeing her friends…make a big deal about the fun she can have by getting some of her closest girlfriends together that she doesn’t see very often for a brownies, bracelets and best friends night. If someone expresses they don’t have anytime, offer meeting her and a few friends after work for java and jewelry. It’sour job to find theirHOOK. This tool will help you to unlock objections. It also leads the excitement into a fabulous booking activity call the “game of chance dice game”. I have found this to be a GREAT booking activity to bring women to a point of decision. It goes like this…are you ready?
OK, What you will need is:
*1 pair of dice
*11 index cards
*11 envelopes..I use the zebra bags from premier incentives..bring an example of one
My prizes are: $5.00 off your order tonight, Free Shipping and premier incentive type bracelets . Have one grand prize, I usually use $25 in free jewelry. Many of my jewelers use the Botanical necklace. Whatever you choose, it should have a $15 to $30 perceived value.
SETTING UP THE ENVELOPES:
* The Grand prize card is in the envelope marked #2 (The grand prize goes in envelope #2 because the odds of rolling 2 is the lowest of all the numbers we’re using)
* “Win a Prize” cards are in envelopes #3, 4, 5, &12
*”Schedule a Show” cards are in envelopes #6, 7, 8, 9, 10, &11
EXPLAINING THE “DICE GAME” AT YOUR SHOWS, THIS IS WHAT I SAY:
My customers always love this part! “Ok ladies, it’s time for us to have some fun! “Sally, will you hold these dice for me?” “We’re going to play a really fun game! It’s a game of chance!” (This is important! Putting the dice in their hand, makes them more likely to play, and once someone starts…almost everyone plays!)
This is how it works:
I have 11 envelopes in my hand. Inside each envelope is a card. Some of the cards say, “win a prize”, some say, “schedule a show”, and one says “Grand Prize!”
Tonight the grand prize is $25 in FREE JEWELRY…..(whatever you’ve chosen).
If you choose to play, you’ll roll the dice and whatever number you roll, I’ll give you the corresponding envelope!
Now, Don’t open it until the end! At the end you’ll open your envelopes together and see what you’ve won, and you’ll all be winners. You’ll either win a prize, or an opportunity to schedule a show and get everything on your wishlist for free or the “grand prize.” Now here are the rules! If you “win a prize”…you have to take the prize. If you win the “grand prize”… you have to take the “grand prize.” If you win “schedule a show”…you have to, (point to the crowd and then say,) "schedule a show!" So Sally will you start us off?”
Some Tried and True Tips I have found are:
You don’t want to just say “who wants to play?” Because No one will play. You have to say, “Sally, will you start us off?” Then after Sally plays, have her hand the dice of to the next person, and so on. There is something to be said about having each person holdthe dice. It makes women want to play. You will even have women volunteer to play too!!!!
Then after everyone has played, ( and this part is optional, but I've found it to be very effective), you say “Don’t open your envelopes yet. I have another chance for you! If you choose to schedulea show before you open your envelope, you can have the grand prize for sure , once your show is held!...PLUS whatever is in your envelope!” Then you go around the room and ask each individual again, “Would you like to schedule a show and get the grand prize for sure?"
Keep in mind that if once someone rolls, lets say a #7, that bag is then out for the game. So if the next person rolls a 7, she will have to RE ROLL til she gets a different number. It doesn’t take as much time as you think. If I have really large shows, I do this activity at checkout and it’s highly effective.
Since I have implemented this game, I have increased by shows by 2-3 MORE future shows at every show. I even scheduled 7 parties at a show that had over 20 people attend. My Premier Sister Angie Kreske did 19 shows just in the month of November! She uses the dice game too! This activity works! If what you are doing to schedule shows is working then don’t change a thing.
