DSI are offering a great opportunity for to join a growing and ambitious IT reseller with a drive to develop a managed services business stream and help define their cloud offerings as a Level 4 Network Engineer Apprentice.
DSI work closely with the likes of Oracle, HPE, DellEMC, VMware and many others. Their expertise is in servers, storage and virtualisation.

Some Information about the role
In DSI you could be involved in a number of different functions, providing great variety within the position. There are two main functions, one is supporting the sales team technically, helping design customer solutions, verifying quotations technically and dealing with suppliers. The second is possibly supporting a customer with their EPOS / Retail environment. This would primarily focus around Microsoft technologies.
The role is office based primarily at DSI’s office in Crayford but also 2 days a week in London possibly. You will be required to travel to customer meetings, installations, and training and supplier events.
Desired skills and attitude
· Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and above skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server
· Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
· Microsoft SCCM expertise
· Knowledge of backup solutions, Veeam
· Knowledge of cloud solutions in Office 365
· Knowledge of Intel vPro technology a bonus
· VMware ESX design, installation and administration would be a bonus
· Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolution
· Good time management skills, self-disciplined, can work as a team and independent
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Annual Salary: £16,000 - £17,000
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday
