PCOLS-SRS Release

1.0INTRODUCTION

The Purchase Card Program Management Office (PCPMO) is partnered with Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and Industry for the development, maintenance, and operation of a suite of applications that address the internal control and policy compliance issues identified by the PCPMO, the GAO and the DoDIG. These applicationswill supplement the existing internal control capabilities in the Banks’ electronic application.

The Purchase Card Online System (PCOLS)consists of Enterprise Monitoring and Management of Accounts (EMMA), Authorization, Issuance and Maintenance (AIM), Data Mining /Risk Assessment (DM/RA), and PCOLS Reporting. Each of these applicationsis accessed through thePCOLSSign-on and Referral System(PCOLS-SRS) application. In addition, PCOLS-SRS provides referral notifications for transactions identified by the DM application.

The release on February 17, 2012will includetwo system enhancementsfor the PCOLS-SRS application.

2.0System Changes

2.1Software Enhancements

The following system enhancements will be included in this PCOLS-SRS release.

2.1.1Enhance Data MiningFlagged Transaction Email Notification (Change Request SRS-37)

The Data Mining Flagged Transaction notification emails will be enhanced. The emails will now identify the Primary A/BO assigned to the Managing Account and all A/BOs that can act upon the flagged transaction in DM/RA. In addition, the email will outline the steps that must be performed in order to complete a case review for thespecified card account transaction.

2.1.2Add New Data Mining Email Notifications for Closed Cases (Change Request SRS-38)

PCOLS will begin sendingemail notifications to the A/OPC and A/OPC Supervisor advising them that Data Mining Flagged Transaction and High Risk cases have been closed. Email notifications for cases closed within the first few weeks of February will be delivered on or around Wednesday, February 22, 2012. The Closed Case emails for Flagged Transactions will provide the disposition assigned by the A/BO and advise A/OPCs that an Independent Review can be initiated. The Closed Case emails for High Risk transactions (scored over 900) will also advise A/OPCs that an Independent Review is required.
