State Park Speedway 2011 Eve of Devastation Events:
You MUST Wear a helmet during ALL Events
If you get a flat tire, you must go to the pits
NO Anti-freeze
Burn Out Contest: Freestyle burn, allowed 30 seconds, must watch and listen for air horn to stop.
Street Cars Only, Must wear helmet. Must continue to move, cannot stay in one place & burn.
Tire Race: 15 minute time limit - Track will provide ropes and tires. Top three will receive pay out. Object is to remove opponents tire while keeping your own. Once your tire is gone, return to the pits. You may not come back into the race once you re-enter the pits.
The tire must be (7 ft) behind the car, officials will be checking & if your rope is not long enough, you will not race.
Train Race Feature: 5 laps - Requires teamwork and you need two cars to compete. The track will provide the 6ft tow strap. Strap attached to the front car’s rear bumper and the second car’s front bumper. You will not win if one or both bumpers fall off. Top three will receive pay out. (Heats 1st & 2nd advance to feature)
Forward/Backward Race Feature: 2 laps - Cars will start when green flag is thrown. Complete lap one, cross start finish line, then put car in reverse and complete lap two. Top three will receive pay out. (Heats 1st & 2nd advance to feature)
2nd Over the Line Feature: 3 laps - The 2nd driver to cross the start/finish line for the checkered flag wins the event. Top three will receive pay out (2nd, 3rd & 4th). (Heats 2nd & 3rd advance to feature)
Tag Race Feature: 2 laps - Requires teamwork and you will need two cars to compete. Both cars will start on the front stretch one behind the other. The first car will make lap one and cross the start/finish line and tag your partner who will complete lap two. Car #1 pull into the infield to get out of the way. Top three will receive pay out. (Heats 1st & 2nd teams advance to feature)
Grand Gauntlet Race: Total of 5 laps - Maximum of ten participants. The goal is to not let the track vehicle/gauntlet complete 5 laps. Each entry paid $10.00.
