On motion of Mr. Lagasse, seconded by Mr. ______, the following resolution was offered:
RESOLUTION NO. ______
A resolution granting permission to the St. Matthew Action Club, represented by Mr. Michael Torry, Permit Chairman, to hold their Annual Parish Church Fair to raise funds for the Parish Church and School Facility, on the school grounds, 10021 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, on Friday, October 10, 2008, from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2008, from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM, and Sunday, October 12, 2008, from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM; to sell food, beer, and beverages; the beer truck will be delivered on Friday, October 10, 2008 and picked up on Monday, October 13, 2008; erect 14 canopies, 3 small tents; have live music and erect signs advertising the fair measuring 2.5’ x 2.5’ and 2.5’ x 6’ at the following locations: 10,000 Block of Jefferson Highway in front of St. Matthew’s, the 8600 Block of Jefferson Highway in front of Winn-Dixie, the intersection of Citrus Road and Jefferson Highway and the intersection of Citrus Boulevard and Dickory Avenue, from Wednesday, October 1, 2008, until Sunday night, October 13, 2008; provided that all necessary permits have been obtained from the Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement, the Department of Citizens’ Affairs, the Health Unit, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, and the State of Louisiana Office of Alcohol Beverage Control to conduct such an event, and that all requirements and regulations of said departments are complied with; and waiving all taxes, licenses and fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson Parish Council of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, acting as governing authority of said Parish:
