Classroom Rules

1.Arrive on time and be prepared to class everyday.
2.Respect your classmates & teachers at all times.
3.Raise your hand if you have a question, and wait to be called on.
4.Food and drink not allowed in the classroom (Water ONLY).
5.Follow directions the first time they are given.

Classroom Consequences

I DO NOT give students supplies under any circumstance
Severe Disruptions: Student sent immediately to office

Classroom Procedures

1.Starting the Period: After the tardy bell rings I will start thebell ringer located in the classroom activities. This is the way that every class period will begin—everyday.

2.How to Head Paper & How to Turn in Assignments: Every time you turn in an assignment you are to write your nameclass period at the top. Your name and class period will be written on everything that you turn in.

3.Quieting the Class: I will raise my hand when I want the class to be silent.

4. Passing in Papers: When it’s time to pass in any work that you are given, this is the procedure: 1) pass all papers to the left side of your row, 2) the person in the far left hand seat will put all papersface up and pass to front of row.

5.If You Are Absent: 1) Go to the absent folder (on google classroom).

Handouts will be placed in the “missed work” folders. All work must be turned in on the day it is due or you will receive a zero. No late points, partial points, or extra credit will be given. The only exception is an excused absence. The excuse must be turned in to the attendance office within three days of the absence. If you have a pre-arranged absence, all work must be turned in prior to the absence. If you have an unexpected excused absence, it is your responsibility to make up all class work, assessments, and assignments. You will have three days to complete and return all assignments given during your absence.

6.Missed Tests: If you are absent on the day that a test is given, the test will be made upduring AO.

7.Tardiness: If you are tardy, you will be counted tardy in INOW. If you are tardy because of a teacher or other school related activity, then you must bring me a note when you come to class; you will not be allowed to leave the class to get a note from the teacher—you will be counted tardy, no exceptions. You must be in your seat when the bell rings (see Student Handbook).

8.Homework: Homework is due at the beginning of class on the due date. Late homework is not accepted; I do not give extra credit under any circumstances.

9.Where to Sit: You will be assigneda seat at the beginning of the year.

10.Test Procedures- There is absolutely no talking during a test. If you talk during a test you will receive a grade of zero.
