Newsletter No 7 – 29 May 2015
Broad Town 5 – Saturday 20th JuneThis event is the clubs biggest self-organised one of the year. Thanks to all those who have agreed to turn up, either as volunteers or participants. We’re aiming to get at least 50 Hounds entering the race; a sea of yellow & blue on the start line would be awesome! As an incentive; enter before the end of this month and get £1 discount on entry fee (paper entries only – available on the website). Full price will have to be paid if entering via Runners World.
Please recommend our club race to your family & friends. It would be great if all members could try and get at least 1 other entry.
If you aren’t running but are available on the day to help, please let Vickie know. Help also accepted from non-members J.
Last weekend….

Andy T’s Mayhem 180 Challenge is nearing the end, the challenge being to travel from France to RWB under his own steam – virtually of course.
He’s done his swimming, the bike was last seen near Bracknell, and he has to run from the other side of Wroughton.
He is doing this to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, so please donate to the cause at https://www.justgiving.com/Mayhem180Challenge/. Every little helps!
The Avon Valley Relay takes place on Saturday 4th July from Bradford on Avon Rugby Club in Winsley to Trowbridge Rugby Club in Hilperton covering 16-miles in four stages which may be of interest to you. Please note that the Ridgeway Relay is the day before.

Thanks to those of you kind enough to suggest names for the Newsletter. I’ll leave this open a while longer, just in case there are any other ideas. Please send them in.
