After 15 weeks of MSDII what would ‘wow’ you?
• Looking for realistic picture for business opportunity
• 25-30 years continuous stream of clothing… how to maximize those donations
• Any other recommendations on how to go forward
• Realistic picture of market
• Joe: so far good…they want to talk about it maybe for clarity.
• Verification of other markets in system other than just final product
• Help contribute to business case for either pro or con to continue with business case
• Want to get peers up to speed quickly with the topic and all the work that went into this
• Being able to present information to others in clear and concise way
• Early to mid semester get other folks to see these investments from ABVI
• User manual front end intro to look at 6 months later
• Work with cost tools with extensive instruction
Les Moore is meeting with Joe this week to get information on students looking into demand for insulation or other markets.
Q: In February, is there anything to show this to CEO?
A: Joe talked to CEO and she is aware of project.
Q: Is there guidance that we would stage up the work for next semester?
A: Challenges is the capital intensive. We need to get the data to load into tools to make them meaningful.
ABVI NOTE: Simulation is very important. This is proof of the project when showing others. There may be space to do a cardboard mock layout at ABVI to footprint.
Q: Are we confident on specs on machines?
A: We are hopeful, more information is good

A: MSDII meetings on week 2,5,8,12,15
Q: What information do we need for this presentation to others at ABVI?
A: Retail operation is going through transformation right now. Complete change in process
ABVI NOTE: Any way that ABVI can be helpful with Standard Work, let them know (Existing process time studies) Process engineer at retail can make some assumptions to use.
