Economic Country Brochure
In this assignment, you will be required to research a country of your choice (first come, first serve) and create an Economic brochure on that country. The brochure must include the following items:
· Overview of the Country (1 panel)
o Geography and Climate (Ex. Mountainous, wet summers, dry deserts, major rivers, etc.)
o Location
o Population (must be an estimate from 2000 or beyond)
o Major religions
o Major political leaders (Ex. President, prime minister, king, etc.)
· Overview of the Country’s Economy (1 panel)
o Country’s per capita GDP (shows the wealth of the country)
o Economic World ranking
o Key Economic sectors (What do they produce?)
· Economic problems in the country today and in the future (1 to 2 panels) – MOST IMPORTANT
· Political map of country
· 2 other pictures or images
· Must cite sources (resources I would recommend are https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/ and http://www.bbc.co.uk/ - Please try not to use Wikipedia for the whole assignment!!)
This assignment is worth a QUIZ grade and is due on September 4, 2013.
