Radio City Cash for Kids Mission Christmas will be launching ‘on air’ on Monday 16th November 2015.

Toys will be collected up until Tuesday 22nd December and the last collection from the store will be Wednesday 23rd December.

The 2014 appeal saw donations of over £800,000 worth of toys and gifts benefitting over 26,000 children. We expect demand to be even higher this year, so please bare with us!

We will contact you as soon as we have any toys for you to collect. There will be no one in the office to take calls about when you will receive the toys.Please wait for us to call you.

You will need to commit to collecting the toys when we ring you otherwise they will be re allocated to another application.

We have again teamed up with the ECHO and Liverpool Lions Club Toy Appeal (who collects the gifts from BBC Radio Merseyside Appeal and the Liverpool ECHO Toy appeal) so please DO NOT apply to both appeals as only one application will be fulfilled.

Application Criteria

Radio City’s Cash for Kid’s welcomes applications from registered charities, referrals from professional bodies, including social services, doctors, schools and children’s organisations. The toys and gifts will be distributed to children / young people, aged 0-18yrs, in the transmission areas of the radio station, who would not otherwise receive at gift at Christmas.

  • Please complete the application form carefully, not forgetting contact numbers and an email address wherever possible. Not providing this information could result in a delay in getting your application processed.
  • Applicants will receive a telephone call to inform them of a collection date and time. Please help us by keeping to this appointment wherever possible during this busy period. If you do not collect your toys at the allotted times, they will be allocated to another application. Do not come to the warehouse if you haven’t had a telephone call to inform that your application is ready.
  • Please check with other Dept’s within your building that you are not duplicating your order for toys as this could affect other applications.
  • All application forms must be accompanied by a signed letter of authorisation on company letterhead. Please state clearly how the children/young people in your organisation meet the criteria.
  • Please ensure that the vehicle or vehicles being used to transport your toys is large enough or that you are willing to make return trips.
  • Collection of toys must be signed for by the authorised individual or representativeof the organisation. Identification MUST be produced by the person collecting the gifts otherwise collection WILL be refused, so please do not forget to bring ID.
