Organizational chart and processes Organization Chart

Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/ improvements

Apart from the prescribed schedule of teaching, teachers take active role in giving assignments to students, encourage them to participate in seminars, group discussions, quiz programmes, debate competitions etc. to improve their knowledge and communication skills. Student representatives of Pharmaceutical association and Scientific Society of the College are involved in the academic and co-curricular activities. To help students to correlate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices, industrial visits are arranged.

v  Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance

To ensure smooth running of the institution, we have adopted the process of decentralization. Recruitment of new faculty is done by a systematic procedure. The appointment is based on the feedback given by the recruitment committee comprising teaching faculty, on the performance of the candidate in the demonstration class. The academic activities like framing the calendar of events, co-curricular and extra curricular activities, industrial visits etc. are planned and executed by various committees. At the commencement of the academic year, the HODs of every department along with the faculty, plan the budget for books, journals, chemicals and equipments. To help improve academic performance, the staff members are appraised by the HODs. Similarly the non-teaching staff members are also appraised by the HODs and teachers.

v  Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance

The institution gathers feedback from the students at the beginning of the year and also at the end of the academic year about performance of the faculty members in a given format. This feedback helps the faculty members to improve their performance. Feedback regarding the institution is collected from the outgoing students, which benefits the institutional governance.

v  Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students

The grievances of the students will be brought to the notice of the Anti-ragging committee and the Student Counselling committee, which give proper guidance to the students.
