  • Online training modules for injury prevention practitioners
  • Report from Network Managers meeting will be shared next week.
  • Toronto Public Health:
  • Currently looking at youth and distraction
  • Scan of public health connection/relationship with car seats
  • School Bus Safety:
  • New program - School Bus orientation for kindergarten students will be part of the Welcome Night in effort to directly reach school-bus riding students.
  • York Region Police:
  • MADD Golf Tournament
  • New designate will attend next meeting
  • York Region Public Health:
  • Releasing York Region Burden of Injury Report in the near future.
  • School board concussion initiatives continue in the region
  • MTO:
  • May 13 – June 14 Road Safety Challenge, $1000 available in funding
