DEPART: Your class will end on Friday, so you should not book a flight that would require you to leave class before 5pm.
What airport will I fly into/out of?
(Ezeiza) Ministro Pistarini International Airport. Airport code: EZE
What are my expenses?
You are responsible for airfare, hotel costs, ground transportation(except for transportation to and from company visits), meals, and misc expenses. UTDT also requires a materials and activities fee of $225 which can be paid with a credit card on the first day of class.

Where will we be staying?
You will be staying at the Hotel Bel Air that is arranged for you by UTDT. Itis in the RECOLETO neighborhood; like Atlanta, Buenos Aires (BA) has neighborhoods. You will enjoy dining and shopping in PALERMO SOHO as well as Recoleto. Pick up a guide before you depart as the city has so much to offer you including Saturday markets near the cemetery where Evita is buried. BA is one of UNESCO's best cities for design in the world -- It is aesthetically a great mix of new and old architecture.
Will a member of the Evening MBA Staff be with us on the trip?
Yes! Eleme Ofogba will be traveling with you to Buenos Aires. She will be able to help you work with the staff atUTDT and address any other concerns you may have.
What is the itinerary? Will there be any planned activities outside of class?
On Sunday, UTDT will be taking the group to an Estancia for a great day of food and fun activities. Class begins on Monday, and you should plan to be in class Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. UTDT will be arranging company visits during those times as well.
What should I wear to class? Company visits?
Dress for class and company visits is generally business casual. Be sure to check the weather for Buenos Aires as the seasons there are generally opposite from what they are here.
Are there specific safety concerns in Argentina?
You are not a citizen of Argentina, so remember that you do not have the same rights as you do at home. The areas in which you are staying and where UTDT is located are generally safe, but, as always when traveling outside of the US, use caution and be aware of your surroundings. In Buenos Aires, you should only use "Radio Taxis" for ground transportation and do not accept a ride from a driver who may approach you in the airport. Also, be on the lookout for fake currency! This is a common problem in Argentina, so you should inspect your bills carefully and compare them to each other to make sure they are authentic. This is particularly important with taxis - they may try to give a fake bill to an unsuspecting tourist, but you can bet they will never accept one! BE CAREFUL!
