2014 Anti Human Trafficking Teen Poster Contest
Contest Theme: No One Owns Me
Human Trafficking, known as modern day slavery, is making a person work or sell themselves by threats, physical or psychological force, or involving children in selling their bodies. The FBI identified San Francisco as a hot spot for human trafficking in the United States.
Eligibility: The contest is open to middle or high school students attending public, private, or home schools in San Francisco.
Contest Rules:
· Poster size must be between 8.5" x 11" and 22" x 28".
· Original artwork ONLY (no copyrighted materials).
· Any media may be used (paint, crayons, stickers, charcoal, computer-generated graphics, etc.)
· Posters can be created by an individual or in groups of up to 3 members.
· Limit of one entry per student or group.
· The theme title “No One Owns Me” must be on the poster.
· 75% of the total score will be judged on the poster’s message, visual effectiveness, universal appeal, and originality. 25% will be based upon the number of “likes” on Instagram.

Deadline: Entries of original artwork must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013. Late submissions will not be considered.
Winners will be recognized by San Francisco officials at the Human Trafficking Awareness Month Kickoff event in January 2014 at City Hall. Details to be announced at www.sfcaht.org.
