“Me” Bags

Social Studies Project

Due: Friday, August 22nd

Dear Parents,

This back-to-school project will build self-esteem and help students get to know each other better! Please help your child find items or pictures at home that tell something special about themselves. Place these items in the “Me” Bag that is coming home today. Your child will stand up and show each item to the class and share how it tells about them. Your child should also be able to tell their lunch number, how they get home from school, birthday, phone number, complete address, full name and parents’ names. Below are some possible items or ideas for the bag. Each item must fit inside the bag! I would like to see at least five items in the bag.

·  Pictures from vacation.

·  NO LIVE ANIMALS!
