SENIOR CHRISTIAN SERVICE

This chart will help you determine which senior service course you wish to take to fulfill your service commitment. Once you are confirmed for a summer service project, fill out the online summer school registration form (which can be found on Jesuit’s website on February 25) being very specific as to which project you have been selected for: Immersion (which trip?), Camp (which camp?), Independent Study or the Summer School Class. Registration fees can be paid online with credit cards. The deadline for all registration is by May 10, 2013. Questions? See Mrs. Anderson in Christian Service.

Your options fall within five different categories:

  • 4-Week Summer School Class
  • Summer Camps
  • Immersions
  • Independent Study
  • Taking period 3 or period 7 Senior Service in the fall or spring of your senior year.

READ CAREFULLY, VERY IMPORTANT: Before you commit to your senior service project please consider any previous commitments you have already made this summer. It is a very good idea to communicate with the appropriate people before you apply to Summer Christian Service to make sure you are free to participate. Ex) Sports training during the summer, ACT/SAT Tests, Summer School Class, Visiting Colleges, Robotics, Family Vacations…etc.
