3. About the battery:
3.5 volt lithium ion battery
Charges directly from AC electrical outlet in approx. 2 hrs.
Charges when connected to computer via USB cable in approx 4 hrs.
Approx. 6 to 8 hrs. of steady use
Approx. 3 to 4 hrs. of use if wireless radio is on
4. About the interface cable:
Short cable with a flat connector on one end and a block on the other end
Block end has embossed image indicating side that should face up
Flat end will connect to the Braille Plus
5. Block end of interface cable:
Features a small round receptacle for AC adaptor
A USB Host receptacle for keyboards, thumb drives, etc.
A USB client receptacle for USB cable
6. Flat end of interface cable:
Clicks into place when correctly inserted in Braille Plus
To remove from Braille Plus unit, press the small tabs on the left and right edges of the connector
7. About the AC adapter:
Small round end connects to block end of interface cable opposite USB receptacles
When USB receptacles are closest to you, AC receptacle is positioned on top left edge of block
Charges battery in about 2 hrs.
8. About the USB cable:
Small end connects to block end of interface cable
Larger end connects to a computer
Charges battery in approx. 4 hrs. when connected to computer
Provides USB network connection (as opposed to wireless)
Enables use of unit on “Disk Drive Mode”
9. About the earphones:
Independent control of the volume when listening through earphones
Adjusting the volume while earphones are inserted into the earphone jack will not affect volume previously set when earphones are removed
10. Other items include:
