You are expected to prepare a report for the selected seminar topicstillThursday, 31March. The guide for preparing the presentation is given below. The aim of the presentation is to have relevant information about the topic and present it in the class atmosphere. The information needed for the report may be reached at different sources with a complete investigation. Your detailed report may better be prepared with a word utility of computer and printed on A4 size white paper (approximately 20 pages) through a good quality jet printer. If you don’t have a computer facility, then a neat hand-written report is quite acceptable. In addition a CD containing the file of the report in (PC) Word for Windows XP version and Power Point presentation will be enclosed within. The report content will comprise the following items:
1. Cover Sheet: The name of the presentation, student ID no and your name, the course title on a single sheet designed at your choice.
2. Content: The content of the report is given in headlines and figure numbers (if any) with page numbers.
3. Letter of presentation: With a length of maximum 1 page, the report content is summarized in short with the opinion of the author about the presentation topic fromglobal and national points of view. Not anticipated to be more than a single page.
4. Abstract: Report content and the important facts derived from the report are presented within maximum 1 page.
5. Introduction: This section deals with non-specific, general information about the topic.
6. Main body: This section contains detailed information and comprises the national, international and industrial impacts.

a. Historical development
b. Raw materials (Chemical structures, sources, prices, etc)
c. Manufacturing methods (Process details, chemical reactions, separation
processes, etc)
d. Uses and economics
e. Production in the World and in Turkey
7. Results and conclusions:This section deals with typical results and conclusions about the type of energy.
8. References: The literature cited and the sources of information used in the report are given with the corresponding numbers as referenced in the text.
9. Appendix: The results of literature survey, papers, data-sheets and brochures of the firms and copy of catalogues (if applicable) are appended in this section.
Rules of Team/Group Working
1. The group members are selected randomly (6 people). Group members will present the project in 25 min and 5min discussion preferably using data show facilities (each group member will present the part of subject within exact 5 min). Therefore, please share the project weight fairly in terms of preparation/handling of the project and presentation work of it. All students in the group will have the same credit.
2.Each group member should participate in every phase of the report survey, and report handling/writing.
