Rules and Regulations:
1. Exhibitors must be a member of the Wisconsin Angus Association prior to showing. Non-members must pay membership dues and entry fees. Membership is $40.00 per year.
2. This show is being held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. All rules of the Jefferson County Fair Association pertaining to conduct will apply.
3. Original registration papers MUST accompany all heifers, bulls, cows and calves. Copies will not be accepted! All animals must have a legible tattoo and it must correspond to its registration paper.
4. Entry fees postmarked by June 1, 2017 and will be $10.00 per head. Entry fees after June 1, 2017, will $20.00 per head.
5. Make all checks payable to the Wisconsin Angus Association. If you are paying membership dues, please make a separate check out for the dues. Entry fees must accompany entry form.
6. Cattle may start arriving Friday June 7, 2013 after 12:00 noon. Check-in will be Sunday, June 4 until 8:00 am.
7. The female show will start at 9:00 am followed by the cow/calf classes and finish with the bull show. The cow/calf class will not show against the heifers for Grand and Reserve Champion Female.
8. Prize money and trophies will be awarded according to the number of entries.
9. Feed and bedding will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.
10. All entries are subject to the provisions of a rule of the American Angus Association entitles: “Eligibility, Conformation, and Structures of Animals Presented for Exhibition.”
11. The Wisconsin Angus Association or anyone connected with the show will not be held responsible for any loss or injury of livestock, feed, equipment or person.
12. Heifers over 6 months must be calfhood vaccinated.
13. Health requirement for cattle originating within Wisconsin: No test or documents needed for cattle originating from within Wisconsin. However, cattle affected with ringworm, warts, mange or scab shall be removed from the premises and allowed to show. Cattle originating outside Wisconsin: All cattle shall be accompanied by a certificate of veterinary inspection. Documenting animal identification and all tests required to meet normal interstate movement.
