Led the Calendar automation team, a team of four, in developing and deploying a new test infrastructure and test suite.
Stress test development for Sun’s Messaging, Calendar, and Address Book Server. Included design and implementation of stress tests and stress test programs.
Designed and created the Stress Test HarnessTM, a multi-threaded, C++ program for Calendar and Messaging, which emulates tens of thousands of encrypted and unencrypted users for load, performance verification, and sizing, used internally and externally.
Designed and created a Java GUI tool for performance analysis and graphing.
Designed and created C based monitoring tools for performance and load testing.
Designed and created a highly scalable C++ based pseudo messaging server used as a backend for Multiple Messaging Multiplexor testing.
Used commercial tools like Silk Performer and Webload to stress test Sun’s Calendar and Address Book Server.
Infrastructure development for Sun’s Messaging Server. Tasks included working on a Perl based automated test framework and conversion of the messaging test suite.
