In my former career, the positions held in the course of 25 years (see attached CV) led me to review c o u n t l e s s technical, commercial and contractual documents as well as quality assurance manuals, to which I devised proposal replies both in French and English. Furthermore, to improve my skills, I took a course in “précis writing” at McGillUniversity.
I now offer English to French / French to English translation services to the Industrial and the Communication worlds, in the fields of technology, marketing and business as a whole. My specialty is with tender documents, but my former positions got me familiar with all aspects of business operation, from product design to delivery, including administration. My expertise in electrotechnology / electrodynamics / electrical energy as well as my interest and ability towards technical issues provide me with the right qualifications for technical translation in the electrical as well as other fields such as, aeronautics, rail transportation, pulp and paper etc.
I have translated many texts in various fields, from a single web page to 400+ page manuals. My projects included paralegal texts, and a multitude of technical tender documents as well as sales bulletins and instruction manuals of various equipments.
