What is a Women’s Cornerstone Retreat?
This Cornerstone Retreat is a 26-hour in-parish opportunity to renew/enrich your relationship with God, and to share time with other women of faith.
What will the Retreat be like? The Retreat takes place on the premises of St. Mary’s Parish. The primary gathering area is in the Fr. Roger Troy Hall (ground level of the school building). The activities begin at 6:45 p.m. Friday, with light refreshments, and will conclude Saturday, 9:00 p.m. Women from both St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart who have participated in Cornerstone in the past are the Cornerstone Team. Their goal is to share an experience which can deepen your faith and fill you with a sense of inner peace. Some will tell their personal faith stories of God’s love and Presence in their lives, some will arrange for your comfort needs and your meals, and some will assist in various other ways. All will provide an atmosphere of warmth, hospitality, camaraderie, and you can also expect some awesome surprises.
There will be time for quiet personal reflection, a Reconciliation service Friday evening, and a Mass on Saturday evening. The atmosphere is prayerful and relaxed. Dress is casual. Friday night sleeping accommodations on the premises are provided as well as delicious meals and snacks throughout. Sleeping at home Friday evening is an option.
Cornerstone has had a powerful impact on the spiritual and personal lives of many. Separating yourself from the hustle-bustle of everyday life for this brief time can be a gift to yourself. God knows you deserve that!

Return your form no later than October 15 to reserve your space for the Retreat. Your $35 donation will cover the cost for meals, accommodations, and materials that will be distributed to the participants. Grants are available. Upon receipt of your form, you will be contacted.
