Call to Order–Sandy called the meeting to order at 7:03pm.
Reserve Update - Tony Maxwell of Ameriprise was not able to attend the meeting and provide
an update. Bob Heinzwill obtain the current information.
Agenda–The meeting agenda was approved unanimously.
Minutes from October Board Meeting – The minutes from the October 20, 2014 meeting were
approved by Board members onlineand confirmed at the meeting.
Community Open Forum (approximately 5 minutes per person) –No questions presented.
Treasurer’s Report - Sandy Cornell submitted the following report:
November 30, 2014 Closing Balance =$18,047.46 December 31, 2014 Closing Balance = $26,600.62
Committee Reports:
- Architectural Review – No report.
- Deed Restrictions – No report.
- Social –Bob Heinz reported that the Christmas gathering was well attended. Upcoming
events include lunch at U of D, free concert at Newark Methodist Church and lunch at
Lewinski’s on Clinton, Delaware City.
- The Board members who are sitting onthe community committees are as follows:
- Bob Heinz – Architectural Review Committee
- Juanita McCormac – Deed Restrictions Committee
- Sandy Cornell – Social Committee
Old Business:
- Update on Properties – A letter will be sent to our attorney to ask questions about the
delinquent properties that are vacant asking what we can legally do since the maintenance
fees are still in arrears.
New Business:
- Wawa Project: Conchita Showell has agreed to be our community representative on a
working group consisting of representatives from surrounding communities regarding
this project. She will attend a meeting on January 22, 2015 and will report her findings
back to the Board. She is also goingto set up a meeting for the community with Shawn
Tucker (attorney with Biddle, Drinker, representing the potential developer) and ask him
to present current state information to members of our community regarding the project.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20pm. The next meeting will be held on February 16, 2015
at 7 pm.
