CABCS is a non government organization operating in Rwenzori region with a major aim of building agribusiness capacity of producer and marketing farmers organized in cooperatives.
Job roles
· Establishing market and financial linkages for (40) CABCS supported clients.
· Developing business and marketing plans and monitoring their implementation by the cooperatives.
· Integrating GAL’s methodology into collective marketing.
· Prepare market contracts between buyers and CABCS supported cooperatives/ producer groups.
· Integrating the village savings and loan scheme (VSLA’s) methodology into collective marketing.
· Organizing and mentoring village savings scheme into savings and credit cooperative societies.
· Facilitating seasonal cost benefit analysis for the (40) supported clients to establish business track record.
· Collecting and disseminating market information to the cooperatives by Conducting market intelligence/survey, research and analysis.
· Conduct periodic business plan review with the cooperatives (quarterly basis)
· Facilitating trainings in management and cooperate governance.
· Training clients in records keeping,

This union formation started in 2014 with five primary societies (Kyanya, Butooke, Ibanda Buhohl, Ibanda Growers and Maliba cooperative societies in Kasese district.

o Mobilization and introduction for the idea to the member primary societies
o Developing the necessary Documentation of the union formation
o Training members societies in cooperate governance.
o Training members cooperatives on the intergration of gender equality in cooperate governance.
o Liaising with Uganda cooperative alliance for assessment and union registration
o Developing the business plan, marketing and capitalization strategy
o Developing the human resource manual
o Facilitating the financial linkages to commercial banks.
2. Formation and Legalizing Semuliki Cocoa Cooperative Union
This union in Bundibugyo district comprises 18 primary cocoa producer societies that came together to access international markets. The union formation was spearheaded by Bundibugyo District Cocoa Association.

o Developing the necessary Documentation of the union formation

o Liaising with Uganda cooperative alliance for assessment and union registration
