Getting the word out about your event is key to success, and there are many ways you can do it. This document includes sample content you can use to promote your content online—through email, Twitter and the YALI Network face2face Facebook group.

One of the easiest ways to connect with your peers and promote your event is through Twitter. By using the #YALILearns hashtag and including the YALI Network Twitter handle @YALINetwork in your tweets, you will be able to reach additional members of the YALI Network who may be interested in your event. Try to tweet at least twice a week leading up to your event. Here are a few example tweets to get you started:
