Services
Domestic Waste Collection
Melton Borough Council encourages recycling and provides different containers. Every household should receive a schedule for collections.
Our rubbish is collected on Thursdays (but on Fridays after Bank Holidays).
The Black Bins (domestic rubbish) & Brown Bins (compostable stuff) are collected on alternate weeks, but green boxes (paper) & grey boxes (glass/metal/plastic) each week.
Domestic Waste Tip
There is an easily accessible tip at Langar Industrial Estate which is convenient for dumping larger items.
Bus Services
Bus Route no 24 (operated by Centrebus) runs through Hose between Melton Mowbray & Bottesford on an hourly basis during the day.

The Mobile Library visits Hose on alternate Mondays between 1.35 p.m. & 2.40 p.m. stopping in the village at Coal Lane & The Black Horse.
