LONE STAR SHOOT-OUT AND BBQ

General Information

Date: April 21st, 2012

Time: 9.00am start time (facility opens at 8.00am – please do NOT arrive EARLIER)

Location: Tac Pro Shooting Center (6miles South of I-20 on Hwy 108 (Exit 370 off I-20) or

18 miles North of Stephenville on Hwy 108)

Entry Fee: $60.00 per shooter before April 7th, 2012 then $70.00 per shooter up to the day.

NOTE **Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable after April 7th, 2011.

Note; There is a LIMIT of 60 SHOOTERS. Your money will be returned in full if it is

received after the 60 shooter limit is met. So be sure to fill out the form completely so we

can contact you if needed.

The entry fee also pays for the BBQ and fixings for each shooter. Note that t-shirts can be preordered and paid for on the entry form.

*If you bring a guest who is NOT shooting in the match, your guest may purchase lunch for $10.00 a person. Please indicate extra guests on entry form so we have enough BBQ for everyone.

The food will be served from approx 11:30 am until we run out of food.

IMPORTANT All Shooters / guests must sign in at the Pro-shop BEFORE heading down to the

range on the day of the shoot. This is where you will receive your lane assignments and pick up your t-shirt if you paid for one.

Range Rules and Range Setup

You will be handed a printed copy of the safety rules upon your arrival and sign in. The range

officers and owner of Tac Pro Shooting Center will have the final say on safety in all safety

matters.

Anyone violating the range safety rules will be disqualified immediately and may be asked to

leave the property if the violation is severe.

We will be shooting off a raised dirt berm.

*You will need to bring whatever you want to shoot from or borrow it.

*You must let us know if you are sharing a bench and need to be squadded together.

Portable benches, bench rests, sand bags and bipods are all allowed.

General Shoot rules

1. There will be five relays

2. You will need to bring your own bench to shoot from if you want to shoot from a bench.

3. If you are sharing this bench with someone you must inform us on the entry form

BEFORE the match so we can pre-allocate shooting stations and relays

4. We will be shooting from 500 yards at clay pigeons. (We reserve the right to reduce the

distance at the start if the weather is poor)

5. There will be multiple targets mounted on a backer board;

3 x 120mm clays – 10 points each

3 x 90mm clays – 20 points each

2 x 60mm clays – 30 points each

*There will be a time for sighters before we begin the shoot.

6. You will be allowed, per relay, 10 rounds at the bench and 10 minutes to shoot them.

Any additional sighters will be out of your 10 rounds.

7. You will need at least 50 rounds to complete the shoot.

8. Most points at the end of the day wins.

Restrictions and classes

1. There is only one class, UNLIMITED – as long as it doesn’t violate the restrictions below

it will be allowed.

2. No rail guns or return to battery guns.

3. No caliber over .338

4. No one piece rests or vices.

5. No wind flags

6. No spotting for your buddy while they are shooting their round.

7. Muzzle brakes are allowed as long as they are not the clam or tank type.

8. There is no weight limit.

9. You can shoot as many guns as you like.

10. No alcohol allowed on the range at any time (either before or after the shoot)

11. There are no sight restrictions

12. All family members and non-shooters are welcome and encouraged.
