To provide all K-8 Center, middle and high school principals, assistant principals and mathematics teachers with information about the availability of the Code.org Computer Science in Algebra 1 Honors Course 2nd Cohort.
The Department of Mathematics is providing all K-8 Center, middle and high school principals, assistant principals, and mathematics teachers with information about the availability of the Code.org Computer Science in Algebra 1 Honors 2nd Cohort PD Course as a follow up to WB# 16866.
Code.org is offering a 2nd Cohort Professional Development phase for the Computer Science in Algebra I Honors getting started course.
Interested teachers are asked to secure their principal’s approval and once approved, use the survey link found below to apply for the 2nd Cohort session.
The deadline to complete the survey is January 31, 2017. Information regarding final selections and course registration will be emailed by Friday, February 7, 2017.
Please note technology resources will not be provided for the 2nd Cohort phase.

Program Commitments Training Dates and Compensation:
oDay 1: February 24, 2017 Regular Work Day –No Stipend
oDay 2: February 25, 2017 Saturday- $100 Stipend
oDay 3: March 18, 2017 Saturday – $100 Stipend
oParticipate in webinars and online component as scheduled
