DAVID M. STEPHENSON CPA, CPCU

Dave Stephenson is an Underwriting Director in Liberty Mutual Insurance’s national accounts property operation, based in Weston, MA. Dave joined Liberty Mutual Property in 2003 and, most recently, was the middle market property manager for Liberty’s northeast operations. He also has worked as a chief claims examiner and in the technical underwriting unit. Prior to working in underwriting, Dave worked as a loss auditing coordinator and credit manager for Liberty Mutual’s middle markets operations. Dave earned an accounting degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and an MBA from Northeastern University. He is a CPA and has earned a number of insurance industry designations including the CPCU. Dave has published articles related to Business Income in “National Underwriter” and “Insurance Journal” magazines and was quoted in “Independent Agent.”
