Students will benefit from practicing for the upcoming standardized assessment by reviewing content on the OAS site. They have their logins.
Tybee Field Trip
All monies should be in at this time. If you haven’t made the final payment or you are behind, please send the money in immediately so we can make our final payments to the organization.
Report Cards
Report cards for the second 9 weeks are now accessible through Infinite Campus. Grades are being posted regularly. Please make sure to go on and check your child’s grades.
Six Flags Reading Logs
Logs are coming due after the break. With all the reading the students have done, they have more than met their 360 minutes. Have them print and copy the form from Pritchett’s site if they have lost it, and sign it for completion.

Spirit Nights:
Midwinter Break is next week. Enjoy your time. / We began the circuit and electricity unit last week. This week students need to be working on column two of the menu!
Reading Projects:
Projects are due They will be due February 12th
This week’s essential questions: Subject to change as needed for instruction of mastery.
Reading: How do we find the tone in writing and visual? How does tone impact the mood?
Writing: How do we conclude writing and connect to our introduction?
Grammar: How do we use punctuation to clarify meaning in writing? i.e., commas, underlining, italics, quotes
Math: How do we multiply by two digit numbers? How do we divide my two digit divisors using partial quotients? How do we read and write decimals to the thousandths? How do we compare and order decimals to the hundredths?
Social Studies:How did Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal program attempt to bring the United States out of the Great Depression?
Science: What is the difference between a series circuit and a parallel circuit? / Social Studies
We’re working on the Great Depression and New Deal. We’ll be moving into WWII the week of February 2nd.. / Math
This week students should have moved to Unit 3. Students should also be completing either a ½ sheet or video every night!
