- Build a Diorama-Take off the lid to a shoebox. Create a scene from the book inside the shoebox. Use colored paper and objects to make this scene. Be prepared to discuss the scene and provide a summary during your presentation.
- T.V. Time-Make a five-inch slit in a shoebox that is decorated to look like a T.V. Run a long 5 inch paper strip through the slit. Divide the strip into as many sections as there are chapters. Include enough sections to put the title, author, and your name at the front. Draw a picture and write a few sentences in each section for each chapter. Pull the strip through the slit as you tell about the book during your presentation.
- Create the Character-You become the main character and tell the story. You are in costume of the main character and tell us about yourself. (Good for a biography book.)
- Spin a Story Web-Make a web of information about your book on poster board. Place the main character in the middle and run supporting characters and chapters of the main character. Be prepared to describe each character and chapter of your web during your presentation.

Write additional information on them like names and description of main characters, setting, etc. Describe and discuss the different [arts of your windsock for your presentation.

On the other side, draw a picture of the part of the book you liked the best and give a brief description or summary of that part. Be prepared to discuss your favorite part and why for your presentation.

At each place draw a picture that illustrates the setting and write a sentence that tells what happened there. Make a paper doll character and move it around the map as you retell the story.
