JKUAT OPENING DATES FOR 2011/2012 ACADEMIC YEAR

JKUAT wishes to inform students that the opening dates for 2011/2012 academic year will be as follows:

1.First Year Students

(a)Juja, Taita Taveta, Nairobi, Karen and KitaleCBD Campuses

Both Government and Self-sponsored students willreport to the University for registration and orientation on Wednesday, 27th April 2011. Letters of admission have already been dispatched to the addresses of the respective students. Students, who will not have received their letters by Tuesday, 20th April, 2011are requested to get in touch with the Admissions Section Tel. No. 067–52034 Ext. 2228or e-mail: of the Registrar’s officeand those not in Main Campus to contact their respective Principals’/Directors. Names of admitted students will be posted on the JKUAT Website from 18th April 2011.

(b)Loan Application

Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)fliers explaining how to apply for HELB Loan Online are enclosed in the admission letter for all students. The application forms should be processed and submitted to HELB before the applicants report to the University. Details regarding HELB Online application can be accessed through

  1. Continuing Students

All Continuing students both Government and Self–Sponsored from the above Campuses are scheduled to report to the University for Registration on Tuesday, 3rdMay, 2011 at 8.00 a.m.

(b) Loan Application

Continuing students are advised to have processed their loans before reporting to the University.

  1. Payment of fees (All students)

a)JUJA and Kitale CBD Campuses

Fees for students in the Juja and Kitale CBD Campus should be paid at any branch of the following banks and through the indicated account numbers.
