.3Section 11610 to 11619 are assigned to Laboratory Fume Hoods.

Format, Specifically: Unless simplicity or complexity of project dictates otherwise, structure Fume Hood specifications as follows:

PerformanceTestingand Verification:

.1Specify testing of prototype of each fume hood in laboratory conditions in accordance with SAMA LF.

.2Specify field testing of each laboratory fume hood after installation of fume hoods, building control system and completion of system balancing.

.3Specialty fume hoods such as laminar flow, radioactive and perchloric acid may require additional performance testing and verification.
