Software Technology Parks of India(Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India) intends to avail the services of authorized partners of
M/s IBMfor comprehensive maintenance of IT Hardware Resources installed STPI Bangalorefor a period of 2 year, i.e. from the date of order.

The detail bill of material is enclosed herewith as Annexure A,Service Norms as Annexure B and Terms Conditions are as per Annexure – C.

Annexure – B

Service Norms

  1. Copy of the Certificate of Authorized partner for sales & service partners for serversissued by M/s IBM shall be furnished in proof of the same. Bids without certificate of authorized partners shall be summarily rejected.
  1. Service Hrs:24/7 service support.
  1. Response Time: 2 Hrs
  1. Resolution Time: 2 Days if>5 Days then standby should be provided.
  1. Incase it is non reparable replacement should be provided.
  1. Incase replacement for faulty it should be of the same make and same model or with better specification.
  1. The faulty equipment carried out of the STPI premises to the AMC vendor premises shall be returned back within 5 working days. In case the STPI equipment has to be moved to any other location by the AMC vendor from their premises for repair, approval for the same shall be taken from STPI.
  1. Periodic Maintenance:

a)Should be carried out on quarterly basis.

b)Check list for the activities carried out during the preventive maintenance to be furnished.

  1. Escalation Chart should be provided.
  1. Quarterly report of problems and replacement if any.
  1. Level of support

a)Hardware

b)Operating System.

c)RAID configuration support for EXP400.

  1. Skill set of the personnel-attending problem.
  1. The selected vendor has to sign Service Level Agreement with STPI- Bangalore.

Terms & Conditions: -

1. Quotes:

Please super scribe on the envelope as “RFP for AMC of IT Hardware Resources installed at STPI-Bangalore”The quote those are not super scribed as above will be summarily rejected.

The quote should reach us on or before 26th May, 2011 at 14:30 Hrs. The quotation received after the due date and time will not be accepted. The quotation being submitted shall be opened on the same day at 15:00 Hrs.

The quote should be dropped directly at the Tender Box kept at the Reception Area of the above mentioned quotes.

The maintenance contract shall be for a period of TWO YEAR from the date of order. However order will be issued initially for one year and extended for another one year on the same terms and conditions subject to satisfactory service during the first year.

The validity of the quote should be 90 days from the last date of submission.

The quotes submitted in the form of fax / email will not be accepted.

2.Pricing:

The price quoted should be exclusive of Tax. Taxes if any should be shown separately.

The bidder shall have necessary registration certificate for Sales Tax, Service Tax, PAN & VAT Registration. (Copy of the same shall be furnished as proof of the same)

3.Payment Terms:

The Payment terms should be indicated clearly.
