Heppner Chamber’s 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Boxing Smoker!

Friday, March 13th – 8:00 pm

Heppner High School Gymnasium

All Smoker participants of the 8th Annual Heppner Chamber’s St. Patrick’s Boxing Smoker will be required to read and sign this form prior to competing. By signing this form, you are agreeing to the following:

Ø  Pre-Registration: You will have to fill out all applicable forms through our Chamber office prior to March 2, 2015 or until we have 20 fighters signed up. Sheryll Bates will handle all of the registration issues. You can reach her at 541/676-5536 or 503/970-7226. There is no entry fee for participating. You will be admitted for free, but all other guests will be expected to pay $10 at the door.

Ø  Trainer/Coach: Each corner will be provided a trainer and coach during your match. You will not get to have your own personal friend or coach in your corner.

Ø  Water, Towel: Water and towels for each corner will be provided.

Ø  Attire: Shorts and tennis shoes or wrestling type shoes are required for dress. You will get a shirt to fight in for a top. It will be yours to keep when you are done- sweat pants are not allowed to fight in.

Ø  Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct or harassment of any kind toward any St. Patrick’s Boxing Smoker official or student by yourself, your family or associates (coaches) will not be tolerated and you will be disqualified immediately.

Ø  Check In: After all participants have checked in, (which is at 6:00pm) the final bouts will be matched and announced at 7:30pm. Taping and fitting of gear will also be during this time period.

Ø  Liability Release: All participants will be required to read and sign the Heppner Chamber’s Release of Liability form prior to participating. You will not be allowed to fight unless this form is signed.

Ø  Photo Release: All participants will be asked but not required to sign the photo release so that the Heppner Chamber may use any pictures of the event for future promotional purposes.

Ø  Doctor: There will be a licensed medical professional on site for injuries. All contestants will be required to stay after their bout for a minimum of 15 minutes after his/her fight and/or medical personnel release you.

Ø  Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco: All contestants must be clean of all illegal/illicit/ or prescription drug use. If you are on a prescription drug, you must have a doctor’s note with you to be able to compete. Alcohol and Tobacco use is absolutely prohibited and contestants that show up having used alcohol prior to the Smoker- will be disqualified.

Ø  Mouth Piece: All contestants will be provided with a mouthpiece and Tee Shirt that are required to wear during the fight.

Ø  Awards: All contestants will be asked to remain in the gymnasium until the Fighter of the Night and Best Fight are announced.
