Sub: Invite the offer forselection of Architect for implementation of proposed construction works of PGPM Hostel and MDP Lecture Block at MDI campus Gurgaon .

Management Development Institute (MDI) is an Educational and Research Institute imparting training to middle and senior level executives of Public Sector Undertakings/ Private/Government Organizations besides Consultancy and Research.

MDI is having its own campus spread over an area of approx. 37 acres in the heart of the city of Gurgaon, Haryana. Presently the total built up area of the Institute is more than 6.30 lakh sq. ft. There are about 35 lecture halls, one Mini Auditorium, Library block, Computer Centre, Academic Complex, residential accommodation for executives, Students Hostel, residential flats for faculty and staff members. The vacant space is being maintained with lush green lawn and sylvan surroundings of more than 20 acres in area.

MDI is looking for a reputed Architect who can provide, supervise & help in execution of PGPM HostelandMDP Lecture block.The plan envisages a total Construction of approximately 34,730 sft. area presently . The details are as under:

Institute has also decided that exposed brick work and glass cladding on the exterior will be used throughout the building. The construction will be eco-friendly/green buildings.

If you are interested to take up this project please send us your technical quotation as well as financial quotation.The financialquotations will be openedonly of those successful quotees, who’s technical quotations approved by the committee.The technical quotation should contain your ” Expression of interest “along with your company’s profile, experience, value of major projects completed during the last three years, in-house facilities available & strength of Architects, Engineers, Experts and other administrative staff, etc. Please also submit a letter from your client(s) regarding timely and satisfactory completion of projects undertaken by you.

3. The financial quotation shall be in percentage of works as awarded for execution.

Professional Fee will be payable on the awarded cost or actual cost which ever is lower.

The break up of the professional feepayable shall be as under:-

5. / Supervision at all stages of the work (periodical site supervision of architectural and structure work), coordination of various construction, settlement of contractor’s account including checking of bills / 30%
6. / Submission of completion drawings etc. for completion certificates to the relevant authority / 10%
7. / Obtaining the completion certificate from the relevant authority & submission of the completion certificate to MDI / 10%
Total / 100%
5% of fee payable shall be retained as Performance Guarantee by the Institute from the running bills which shall be paid at the end of maintenance period i.e. after 12 months of handing over the completed project work to MDI.

The quotations may be sent to the undersigned i.e. latest by 9th May 2012 up to 3.00 p.m.

5. The Institute reserves right to accept, reject all or any one of the quotations, award contractbased upon its requirement fully or partially or phase-wise, at its sole discretion. The decision of MDI in this regard will be unquestionable, final and bind upon the quotees .
