2. PROBLEM DISCUSSION.
A. SUMMARY: THERE IS A POTENTIAL TO COME IN CONTACT WITH
ROTATING FAN BLADES WHILE TIGHTENING OR LOOSENING THE FUEL
LINE AT THE INJECTOR, DURING INJECTOR TESTING.
B. FINDINGS: THE INJECTOR TEST MUST BE PERFORMED WHILE THE
ENGINE IS RUNNING SO THAT THE TESTER CAN HEAR CHANGES IN THE
ENGINE AS THE FUEL LINE IS LOOSENED. A WARNING NEEDS TO BE
ADDED TO THE PROCEDURE IN THE TECHNICAL MANUALS ABOUT THE
HAZARD OF THE ROTATING FAN BLADES.
