Route 2 New Registration Procedure

  1. First go to the LOtC Quality Badge Website at and click on the ‘Apply for a Quality Badge’ button near the top of the page.
  1. Once you have read the eligibility statement select ‘Route 2’ from the bottom of the ‘How to Apply’ page and you will be asked to choose log-in details. Select the ‘new user’ option and input a user name and password.

  1. This will take you to the registration form. The first section asks you to select an Awarding Body and let us know if you have already contacted them.

  1. The second section collects organisation details. These are for CLOtC information and use only and won’t appear on any public lists. CLOtC will use these details to contact you with any questions or news about your LOtC Quality Badge.

Required fields will be highlighted in red until completed.


  1. The final section collects the details that will be displayed on our LOtC Quality Badge searchable database once your award is made. The ‘description’ field is an opportunity to give a brief summary of what you offer to schools, which will appear alongside your listing.


  1. Once you have completed all sections download the Terms & Conditions document from the bottom of the form and tick the box to indicate that you have read these and agree to them.
  2. Click on the ‘‘submit application’ button at the bottom of the form and an automated email will inform the Awarding Body of your registration. Should you wish to wait before submitting your application you can use the ‘save draft’ button and submit your application at a later date.
  3. If your organisation has more than one eligible site or brand, you can add further applications to the same organisation details by logging in and clicking the ‘new application button’ on your organisation ‘dashboard’.


  1. You will be taken back to the beginning of the ‘How to apply’ process, but when you reach the Route 2 form the organisation details will already be completed.
  2. Complete the details for the newly added site or brand and submit the application as before.
  1. Should you wish to update the details we hold for either your organisation or your sites, simply log in at using the user name and password you have created. CLOtC will receive a notification of the update.
