REIDSVILLE’S FALL JUBILEE
The City of Reidsville, Reidsville Downtown Corporation and Downtown Merchants invite you to attend the 24TH Annual Reidsville’s Fall Jubilee (formerly Reidsville Homegrown, Hometown Festival).
Reidsville is nestled in the heart of Rockingham County, known as North Carolina's "North Star." Reidsville’s motto is “Live Simply. Think Big.” And this all new revitalized festival is no exception.
This is the 24th year for the festival, it’s got a new name Reidsville’s Fall Jubilee and has lots of new activities. This year the festival will be one day only, Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 a.m. -9:00 p.m.
This festival draws thousands of people from across North Carolina and Southern Virginia for entertainment, food, fun and the EZ Street Cruisers Car Show. The antique cars, street rods and classic car show are all sponsored by the EZ Street Cruisers Car Club and will feature more than 150 beautifully restored cars and trucks. This car show is always a highlight of the festival and the Car Show circuit and is one of the largest in the Southeast.
The Reidsville Fall Jubilee will offer a mix of art, crafts, classic cars, jewelry, fashion accessories, pottery, home and garden decor and much, much more. This year the festival has over 100 quality vendors. You will find your favorite fun festival foods that include: turkey legs, hot dogs, BBQ, blooming onions, funnel cakes, snow cones, Steak & Cheese, ribs, and sausage dogs, to name a few.
New this year in the children’s Kidz Zone is amusement rides, featuring a train, ponies, a huge slide, games, Spin-Out, Pooh Bears, Scooby Doo, Bounce Houses and more. Love Corn Hole? This year the festival features a cornhole tournament. It will take place on Market Street at Corn Hole Village and will be a double elimination tournament. The winners will receive 50% of the proceeds raised. Pre-registration is $30 a team and $40 on the day of registration.
Entertainment will not only be located at Market Square but also on a second stage that will be at the top of Scales Street featuring local entertainment, with Bluegrass, Crosswind Band, and Country Hearts. The local stage runs from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Beginning at 3:00 p.m., Market Square begins rocking with up and coming country artist, Lindsay Nicole, followed by R&B with Tony Dove & Co. Taking the stage at 7:00 p.m. is the nation’s most famous Eagles Tribute Band, On the Border, the Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band. Make sure you bring your lawn chair and secure your place at Market Square for an exciting evening of music. MillerCoors will be on hand with beer tasting in the Beer and Wine Garden, The garden does not open until 2:00 p.m.
