We are pleased to offer you a Special Appointment as a Lecturer/T – Student Teacher Supervisor, in the Department of Teacher Learning Teacher Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from [DATE] to [DATE]. The Chair of the Department must approve all special arrangements. You will be responsible to turn in grade reports and evaluations on or before the due date. Your assignment for Supervision will be as follows:

2 student teachers= $400/student teacher

Total Salary -- $ 800.00

The number of students may change and the salary may be adjusted. This amount is payable in one monthly payment less withholding taxes as required by federal and state law and any other payroll deductions you have authorized. You will receive your first check on or about [DATE].

This offer and all its terms and conditions are subject to approval procedures set forth in Section 3.2 of the Bylaws of the Board of Regents. In the language of the Bylaws of the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska (Section 4.4.1), your appointment is a “Special Appointment” for a state term, and it will terminate at the end of the appointment period and the University has no obligation to notify you further of non-reappointment. This position is non-tenure leading.
