MARION COUNTY 4H COWGIRL QUEEN CONTEST

The Marion County 4H Horse Project would like extend an opportunity to apply for the Marion County 4H Cowgirl Queen Contest.
Each applicant must be an active 4H or FFA member.
Please return the following page along with a billfold picture, to be used in the Clover Courier, to the Extension Office by June 6, 2011.
Competition will be held Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Marion County Open/4H/FFA Horse Show, Marion County Fairgrounds, Knoxville, Iowa beginning at 9:00a.m.
Entrant will compete in a Queens Class in their respective division. Judging will be based on Horsemanship (1/3), Community and School Involvement (1/3) and Personality (1/3). Judge’s decision will be final.

The information on the Marion County Cowgirl Queen application will be used by the judge as part of his decision making process to determine who will become “Marion County Cowgirl Queen”. Questions for the Queen’s interview may come from this application form. It is assumed by the judge and committee that all parts of the application are true.
I hereby declare that any statements or other information provided in the Marion County Cowgirl Queen application represents the absolute truth. I understand that any piece of false information disclosed in the application will disqualify me from this and all future county queen contests.
In addition, if chosen to be Marion County Cowgirl Queen, I agree to make appearances at the 2011 Marion County Fair and to attend outside parades as requested by the Queen Committee. In the event that I am crowned Marion County Cowgirl Queen, I am available to attend the 2011 Iowa State Cowgirl Queen Contest. I also understand that if crowned at the Iowa State Fair, I am expected to make an appearance at the State Faire as requested by the State Fair Committee.
