Quick Tips: How to Load the Sample Social Media Posts

Each sample post comes with the following:

· Hashtag

· Link or image

Please be sure to include each element in your social media posts.

Example 1: Social Media Post with Image

Odio error eos an, sea amet liber invidunt cu. Te mei ridens fuisset. #hashtag (specific hashtag provided in e-blast)

· Step 1: Copy and paste the text (if there’s a URL, be sure to shorten it – see Examp 2 below)

· Step 2: Copy and save the image as a JPEG

· Step 3: Upload the image using the “Add photo” icon and hit “Tweet”

Example 2: Social Media Post with a Link

Odio error eos an, sea amet liber invidunt cu. Te mei ridens fuisset, [link to: cdc.gov (specific link provided in e-blast)] #hashtag (specific hashtag provided in e-blast)

· Step 1: Copy all of the text except for the language that says “[link to: cdc.gov (specific link provided in e-blast)]”

· Step 2: Shorten the link. Click on the link to women.smokefree.gov and copy/paste the long/direct link into a URL shortener, i.e., bit.ly, Goo.gl, etc.

· Step 3: Copy the text, the shortened URL, the hashtag, add the image, and hit “Tweet”
