Praise God for bringing us through another year, and to the threshold of a new year. Ask God to bless us as we travel through 2015.

Praise God that on Tuesday, Dec. 30, Alvin and Joyce VW will be celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Alvin and Joyce!

Keep Rhoda B in your prayers. On Dec 22, she went into the Spirit Lake Hospital with cardiac issues. After testing, she was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat). After an over-night stay she was released to go home after getting her heart back into rhythm with medications. Praise God for his blessings on Rhoda, that everything went quite well and she is doing well.

Keep Kathy Zin your prayers.Kathy is quite tired and weak since her last chemo. Her next scheduled treatment is Wednesday, December 31. She thanks everyone for their prayers and asks for continued prayers.

Keep Louie D in your prayers as he continues to deal with pain in his sternum (breastbone).Thursday, Dec 18,he went to the Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake, room number 156. He is awaiting test results and will be having more tests performed to determine the type of bone cancer he is dealing with.

Keep 2 year old Parker L, Tyler and Maggie L son and grandson of Steve and Lisa S, in your prayers. On Dec. 17Parker was diagnosed with GI GVHD (Graft vs Host Disease). GVHD is when the new, transplanted cells regard Parker’s body as foreign and when this happens, the newly transplanted cells attack his body. He had a great weekthis past week, and his numbers continue to look great. Go to bridge.org then type parkerlloyd in thevisitsomeone box to get updates.

Keep Dave VL in your prayers for healing from his cancer.Dave’s MRI showed progression of his primary tumor and also an additional one the size of a cherry. He is back on steroids to reduce the swelling associated with the growth and the fluid in his brain. Keep Dave in your prayers as he goes through further treatments.

Keep Carol T in your prayers. She was transferred to the Country View Manor on Friday, Dec. 19
