(Supply/Logistics)
04/11/12
Hilert
DLA / This change enhances procedures implemented under ADC 379 to include one additional supply status requirement. It establishes an additional procedure for the preparation of supply status by DLA to provide notification to Navy BRAC SS&D sites when materiel requisitioned by DLA (on behalf of the Navy) from another Service/Agency source of supply (SoS) has been processed for shipment. DLA will provide supply status to the NSY or FRC sites when such status is provided to DLA from the SoS. / 04/26/12 / USMC

Exclude Army from using the Logistics Asset Support Estimate (LASE) Process (Supply/MILSTRAP)
3/25/10
Johnson
Army, HQAMC / Army decision is not to initiate a requirement for programming this capability in their modernized system aka Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). Army modernized system will not provide the ability for customers to submit LASE transactions to Army. In addition, under LMP, Army does not generate LASE transactions to other Components, nor will Army use LASE on an intra-Army basis. Army is not offering an alternative to LASE, but instead requests its use with Army be discontinued. / 5/03/10 / USA

Revised MILSTRAP Procedures for Logistics Accountability During Maintenance - Disallows Logistics Use of Inventory Adjustment Transaction (DAC) for Physical Movement of Materiel from a Storage Activity to a Maintenance Activity (Supply)
01/20/12
Johnson
PRC Chair / This change requires the Components discontinue use of an inventory adjustment
for supply condition code change transaction (DLMS 947I/ MILSTRAP legacy DAC) as a method to record physical movement of an item between a storage activity and a maintenance activity.
This change also proposes deletion of MILSTRAP procurement source receipt transactions related to the return from a contractor of government owned materiel furnished to the contractor for use in the maintenance process. Procurement source MILSTRAP legacy DICs D4G, D4H, D4L, and D4L, were added by AMCL 12 and 43 for this purpose. However after further consideration, the MILSTRAP administrator believes return of government owned materiel that had been furnished to a maintenance contractor would be accomplished using the corresponding non-procurement source receipts (DICs D6G, D6H, D6L, D6M) / 2/21/12 / USTC

Proposed Addendum to ADC 473, (Staffed as PDC 473A) DLMS Revisions to Add the Associated Purchase Order (PO) Number in Support of the DLA Interface with the Exchange and the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) (Supply)
09/24/12
Hilert
DLA / DLA Troop Support has several non-DOD customers that have a requirement to have their internal PO number identified on their orders and perpetuated to subsequent information exchanges. Their systems are built strictly around this PO number (rather than the document number used by DOD systems). Changes to the identified DLMS transactions need to be made in order to fully provide and perpetuate the customer’s PO number. This will allow customers to better integrate and maintain their processes with DLA. This change republishes the original ADC 473 revisions using a more generic note and adds a shipment documentation requirement. The revised DLMS note will authorize use of the PO number for both the Exchange and NEXCOM, as well as allow DLA to expand the usage if needed. Once approved, this change will supersede and replace ADC 473 in its entirety. / 10/24/12 / USTRANSCOM
