§ Multiplication test every Friday—remember the students need to know their Xtable facts to automaticity—otherwise-they WILL continue to fall behind—the new concepts they are learning are already difficult—without knowing their facts they WILL be overwhelmed—the standards are written with the expectation that the students know these facts already coming into 5th—Please make sure your child is studying them at home daily—only 9 of my fifth graders have passed the test-STILL-Please study with your children at home--THANKS
