Eligibility Requirements:(1) African American male high school senior or undergraduate at a four-year college/university, (2) cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or greater (4.0 scale), (3) involvement in church, community, and/or a school-related extra-curricular activity, 4) If in high school, plans to enroll at a four-year college/university.Also, please be advised thatscholarship awards will be presented on January 13, 2018 at the foundation’s annual MLK Scholarship Luncheon. All Scholarship winners are expected to be in attendance.

Each statement should be a comprehensive narrative outlining significant aspects of academic, civic, and personal accomplishments, particularly those that have provided context for academic achievements and future aspirations. Additionally, discuss any challenge(s) faced during life experiences and how overcoming thoseobstacles has shaped the applicant’s overall perspective. Each submission must be typed, double spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman.
