POWERMAC PRODUCTS POWER LIFT TROLLEY

Introduction

If you’re sick and tired of the back breaking effort to lift and maneuver modern race karts, then things have become a whole lot easier thanks to the “Powermac automatic kart lifter and trolley” produced right here in Australia by us at Powermac products

Features

Kart lifter will transport your kart to the grid and lower it with the press of a button.

On return to the in-grid, you can pick up your kart effortlessly without putting a finger on the Go-Kart.

This Kart lifter can also be used to take your kart out of the trailer, or to put it back in, all without having to lift. (For karts transported on the trailer floor or low down).

The Power Tech trolley folds away simply for transport, taking up little more room in a trailer than conventional trolleys. In 'trolley mode', working height is the same as most other trolleys on the market.

Trolley can be transported flat on the floor of trailer, or simply unclip the battery and transport it vertically.

The rechargeable battery supplies the power and a push button controller makes operating the DC Lift Trolley effortless.

The finish is a durable powder coat making it easy to clean.

Safety and Warnings

The Powermac Power lift trolleys are very safe to use but as with all scissor type mechanisms, care must be taken to avoid any entrapment as it is operated.

For major kart maintenance operations such as straightening or replacing axle, or working physically under the Kart the safety chain and hook should be used to provide a failsafe method of keeping the loaded trolley in the up position in the case of something failing with the winch.

Replace the cable if it is becoming frayed.

Observe safe lifting practices when unpacking your trolley at the track as the dry weight is 25kg or (32kg. Including the battery).

General Instructions

Charging the battery; Charge the battery after two to three outings Try not to let the battery get below 50% for maximum battery life.

We recommend that the battery be charged at around 60 lifts.

If the terrain is rough you can tilt the Kart down causing it to move forward. This will put more of the weight on the front wheelsmaking it easier to wheel over the rough ground and raise it up to full height on return to the pits.

Bend lower part of the forks in a little for narrow karts. On some junior and Cadet Karts (OTK in particular) the spacing between the frame rails is a bit narrower. If you bend the lower part of the fork inwards a little it will help centralize the trolley under the kart more easily.

Note; The trolley is designed to pick up the kart from under the rear bumper and not through the handgrip holes provided on some rear bumpers.

If at the track you find something has gone wrong, i.e. a flat battery or a problem with the winch or switch you can use the safety chain and hook to keep the trolley in the lifted position and with the help of another person, lift the kart on and off in the old fashioned way.

Maintenance

The trolley requires minimal maintenance. The most important task is to keep the battery charged.

The battery will usually need charging every two to three race meetings. We recommend that you charge the battery before the charge drops below 50% to maximize the life of the battery.

Keeping the tire pressures up around 40lbs. will make the trolley wheel easier over rough ground.

As the winch is very strong it is important that the limit switch is working correctly to prevent over stressing the lifting frames. Small adjustments to the switch can be adjusted with your finger by bending the switch mounting bracket. This adjustment should rarely ever have to be made.
