Job Title:Marketing Executive - Travel Trade (TTE)

Job summary
Supporting the MarketingManager – TradeTrade (TTM) the Marketing Executive will be fully involved in thedeliveryof the agreed domestic travel trade marketing programme, and will be responsible for ensuring the group travel guide, e-newsletter and direct mail opportunities are delivered on time and within budget.
Primary projects within the group travel programme include: ExcursionsTM, group travel fairs, group travel guide, e-newsletters, B2B website, B2C Website, social media channels, group mailings and other trade events.
Specific Responsibilities
- Work alongside TTM to plan, and review elements of the marketing programme for domestic group travel and identify opportunities for efficiencies and growth.
- Assist in the development and implementation of B2B and B2C communication for all group travel programme activities sent to members, non-members,destination partners and end users. This includes working with designers and external suppliers when required.
- Responsible for the sales, design and despatch of the trade e-newsletter programme throughout the year and generate performance reports.
- Responsible for the production and delivery of the group travel guide including sales, editorial, collating listing information and proofing.
- Maintain and update the group travel direct mail database throughout the year. Create mailing quotations; deliver a conversion of bookings and co-ordinate mailings with suppliers.
- Responsible for ensuring the group travel guide, e-newsletters and direct mail activities remain within the allocated budgets and reviewed regularly with TTM. Work with TTM during end of year financial reconciliation.
- Provide administration and operational support to TTM on the annual ExcursionsTM exhibition, travel fairs and trade events, liaising with exhibitors, sponsors, venue and contractors as required.
- Effectively manage all incoming travel trade enquiries with TTM.
- Assist with all group travel related sales requirements working with TTMpartnersto recruit exhibitors and advertising partners. Responsible for ensuring sales reports are kept up to date for all activities.
- Responsible for creating and updating digital content across websites and social media platforms as per the strategy
- Attend relevant in-house and external meetings in line with job requirements,type up notes as required.
- Undertake any other duties as required.
