Oral· To reinforce vocabulary learned in previous session.· Use programme on Tai to enter virtual tour of an inside of a house and listen to the pronunciation of the word for each room and repeat words.
· Play a game on section 5 of gweithgaredd 1. Listen to the noise made in each room and select the correct room by reading and clicking.
· Play Y Ty game game listening to sounds around the house and guess the room the sound can be heard in.
Reading· In order to enter the virtual tour (left click on the mouse or tap on the IWB pen.)
· Read the words that appear on the screen – labelling each room as it is entered.
Writing· To have a copy of the vocabulary and label rooms on a worksheet.
· Cut out furniture and glue into correct room.
· Make 3D rooms from different materials – possibly set as a homework task.

Revision needed!(Encourage pupils to look back in folder as an aid for revision of sentence patterns used) e.g.

· Read questions and use IWB pen to slide answers into correct places. (Sections 3 & 4)
Writing
· Complete differentiated worksheet – questionnaire. (section 2)
· Make a questionnaire for their friend, (work in pairs).
· Yr 4 to write sentences in correct order (sections 3 & 4).
· To collect data and make a graph to represent data of whole class, who likes or dislikes certain rooms.
· Extend activity by writing their own sentences leading from section 2’s questionnaire answers. (A class book could be made with simple sentences used)
· Practice writing their numbers to ten.Session 5 & 6

Look at sections 1-6 of Gweithgaredd 5 on the programme ‘Tai’, go through sections in order.

· Sections 3 & 4 are matching pairs games to play on the IWB and are a great aid to learning the verbs as they play.
· In sections 6 and 7 the children will need encouragement to read sentences using the positive and negative forms of speaking the sentence patterns being learned.
Reading
· The children will be expected to read flashcards,
· cards to match the picture/the sentences,
· Complete the sentences, reading for meaning, predict which word is missing.
· The children will also need to read and re-read big books with staff and independently by using many of the reading cues/strategies they need to apply whilst reading in english.
