Chippewa Valley School District Grade-level Novel List
Please find below a list of reading materials that have been adopted as part of Chippewa Valley Schools’ Language Arts Reading Curriculum. Thesetexts are suggested by the Macomb Intermediate School District in the ELA Genre Units and are utilized throughout our district.
This list is intended to 1) provide teachers with a greater understanding of the texts students are reading at various grade levels, and 2) help teachers in making respectful, educated decisions when choosing resources to use within their classrooms in addition to the MISD Genre Units.
